Young people both with and without disabilities especially from rural and poor communities often face immense difficulty when it comes to accessing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), information and services, due to a multitude of inequalities such as lack of access to education, economic resources, and health care.
These inequalities can be particularly burdensome and can prevent young people especially those with disabilities from making informed decisions about their sexual health and well-being.
It is essential that we work together to recognize and address these inequalities, so that young people with and without disabilities are able to access SRHR and services and make decisions that are best for themselves and their futures.
For this reason Rural Disabled Women Association (RUDIWA) is accelerating community and public awareness and educational campaign on SRHR using digital media and community engagement
